WE88 Review: An Unranked Brand, Read From Its Own Terms
Type WE88 into Google Malaysia and you get its own site, a few review pages and several lookalike addresses, which makes it hard to know what to believe. WE88 is not part of our ranked top 10 and has no star rating or rank here. This page reviews it on its published details only: the licence it names, its bonus terms, its banking pages and its slot lobby, as they stood on 9 October 2026.

What WE88 Is
WE88 says it is an online casino brand set up in 2010 that started in Malaysia and now runs separate local sites for Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam. The company named in its footer is MockingBird Technologies Pte. Ltd., the same name that appears on its licence. Its own FAQ says WE88 is a different brand from W88 and operates independently.
Besides slots, the menu has live casino, fishing, sports, esports and 4D draws, including Magnum 4D, Damacai 1+3D and Sports Toto. WE88 also names Steven Gerrard as its Global Brand Ambassador. That claim comes only from WE88, and we have not checked it against other sources.
The Slot Library
The slots lobby shows tabs for Pragmatic Play, Playtech, JILI, Fa Chai, VA Gaming, Spadegaming, Winspinity, Hacksaw, Advant Play and JDB, and the page code lists more, including Habanero, Red Tiger, CQ9, Relax Gaming and Mega888. WE88's own pages give different game counts, so we have left that number out. On 9 October 2026 its notice bar also listed Mega888, PlayNGo, GamePlay, Spribe and Pegasus games as under maintenance.
Providers With a Guide on This Site
Five of those names have a page here: Pragmatic Play, JILI, Spadegaming, JDB and Mega888. Pragmatic Play matters most at WE88, because the free spins offer runs on a WE88-branded slot, Gates of WE88 Super Scatter. Mega888 is the weak spot: it does not count towards welcome bonus turnover, it is left out of the daily rebate, and the site listed it as under maintenance from 9 October 2026 until further notice.
RTP Figures on the Game Tiles
Game tiles carry RTP labels, such as 98.3 for Gates of WE88 Super Scatter and 96.52 for Gates of Olympus 2500. These are WE88's figures, not studio documents. Our slot RTP list explains why the number in the game's own info panel is the one that applies to your spins.
Bonuses and Promotions, Read Honestly
WE88 publishes its turnover rules with worked examples, so you can check the cost before you deposit. The catch sits in the exclusions and in two places where its pages disagree.
The Welcome Offers
New members can take the 100% Welcome Bonus or the smaller Welcome Package, but not both: the Package terms rule out the 100% welcome bonuses and the weekly rescue bonus. The free spins offer can be added to the 100% Welcome Bonus.
| Offer | Deposit | Bonus | Turnover |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100% Welcome Bonus | First deposit, RM30 minimum | 100% up to RM500 | Slot & Fishing x12, Sports & Esports x10, Live Casino x25 |
| Welcome Package | First deposit of RM50 | RM50 (100%) | x8 |
| Free spins | First deposit, RM50 to RM500 | 18 to 138 Pragmatic Play spins | Check offer terms |
The spins are played on Gates of WE88 Super Scatter and scale with your first deposit: RM50 gives 18, RM100 gives 28 and RM500 gives 138. The terms put no cap on what you can withdraw from spin winnings. The 100% Welcome Bonus is limited to one per person, household, email, phone number, payment account, shared computer and IP address.
What the Turnover Means in Ringgit
WE88's own example is a RM100 deposit with a RM100 Sports bonus, which needs (100 + 100) x 10 = RM2,000 in bets. On Slot & Fishing the same method gives (100 + 100) x 12 = RM2,400; that is our sum from their formula, not a figure the site prints. Slot bets on Mega888, arcade games such as Aviatrix and non-live games such as Blackjack do not count, and if you move to other games before the turnover is met, you can lose the bonus and its winnings.
Where the Pages Disagree
One line of the terms says turnover is based on the maximum bonus claimed, which does not match the worked examples. The promotions FAQ also says you need your first three deposits to qualify, while the terms say first deposit only. Ask live chat to confirm both before you opt in.
Ongoing Promotions
These are the regular offers after sign-up:
- A 10% reload with no maximum bonus from RM30, at x12 turnover, only when your balance is under RM10.
- A daily cash rebate with no turnover: 0.5% to 1% on slots by VIP tier, paid at 2am (GMT+8), with Mega888 and arcade games excluded.
- A weekly rescue bonus of 5% to 10% on losses of RM500 or more, capped at RM10,000, at x8 turnover, claimed each Monday through live chat.
- Smaller extras: an RM8 app bonus at x1 turnover, a referral commission of 0.2% of a friend's daily turnover, and a 50% monthly deposit bonus up to RM1,000 for VIP members at x10.
A bonus paid on losses can make chasing them feel normal. If you catch yourself waiting for Monday's rescue bonus, read our responsible gaming page. WE88 says it will suspend an account on request for self-exclusion, and that a raised deposit limit only takes effect after 24 hours.
Banking and Payouts
| Deposit method | Minimum | Stated check time |
|---|---|---|
| Online banking or ATM (Maybank, CIMB, Hong Leong, RHB) | RM30 | 3 to 5 minutes |
| Payment gateway (Truepay, EeziePay) | RM50 | Up to 5 minutes |
| QR Pay (DuitNow QR, Touch 'n Go QR) | Check cashier | Not given |
| Crypto (USDT) | Check cashier | Not given |
Deposits from someone else's bank account are not accepted, and a deposit made without a promotion still needs x1 turnover before you can withdraw it.
Withdrawals
Withdrawals go to a local bank account in your own name, with checks taking 15 to 30 minutes. You can withdraw up to five times a day, up to RM50,000, and higher VIP tiers raise that daily limit, up to RM300,000 at the invitation-only Diamond tier. The homepage FAQ adds that QR pay, DuitNow, Touch 'n Go and crypto payouts take from almost instant to a few minutes, and bank transfers about 1 to 3 days. No minimum withdrawal is stated on the public pages, and WE88 may ask for ID such as a passport or bank statement before it pays out. Only one account per currency is allowed.
Licence and Lookalike Sites
What WE88 Claims
The footer says WE88 is a brand of MockingBird Technologies Pte. Ltd., licensed by the Government of Anjouan under licence number ALSI-202410012-FI1. The same footer also claims a Curacao licence with no number, and the responsible gaming page adds Malta, the UK, Denmark, Spain and Germany. We found no evidence for those extra licences, and they read like copied text.
What the Register Confirms
The Anjouan Gaming licence register lists MockingBird Technologies Pte. Ltd. under ALSI-202410012-FI1, status valid, type B2C, issued on 2 October 2024 and expiring on 1 October 2027. That shows the licence exists and belongs to the company WE88 names. It does not show:
- That WE88's Malaysian addresses are covered. The entry names one domain, we88search.com, a regional gateway that sends Malaysian players to a different address.
- Whether playing from Malaysia is allowed. Our guide to online gambling law in Malaysia covers that question.
- How fast payouts arrive, or how complaints are handled.
How to Spot a Copy Site
On 9 October 2026, WE88's notice bar said its official domain had changed to werich88.com, while we88m08.com, the address that ranked first on Google Malaysia, was still live with the same pages. Because several addresses carry the same site, the address alone tells you little. The lookalike domains we saw in Google results are neither linked from WE88's own site nor named on the register. Before you sign up:
- Check the footer for licence number ALSI-202410012-FI1, then look that number up on the Anjouan register yourself. A copy site can paste the same footer, so treat the number as one check, not proof.
- WE88 mentions an Android app only, installed from its own mobile app page. Never install an app file (APK) sent through a chat message or found on a lookalike domain.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Its Anjouan licence number appears as valid on the public register, under the company named in its footer
- Welcome terms include worked turnover sums, so you can check the cost before you deposit
- Up to 138 Pragmatic Play free spins can be taken together with the 100% Welcome Bonus
- The daily cash rebate has no turnover requirement
- Local bank deposits from RM30, plus DuitNow QR, Touch 'n Go QR and USDT
Cons
- The site also claims a Curacao licence with no number, plus European licences we found no evidence for
- The promotions FAQ says the welcome bonus needs three deposits; the terms say first deposit only
- Several domains serve the same site, which makes lookalikes harder to spot
- Mega888 play does not count towards welcome bonus turnover or the daily rebate, and it was under maintenance on 9 October 2026
- No minimum withdrawal is stated on the public pages

The Verdict
WE88 has a licence you can look up on a public register, and its welcome terms show their turnover sums. For Pragmatic Play fans, up to 138 free spins (on a RM500 first deposit) on top of the 100% bonus may be worth weighing, as long as x12 turnover on slots fits your budget. Against that, it claims licences we found no evidence for, its bonus FAQ contradicts its terms, and its many addresses make lookalikes easier to fall for.
WE88 stays outside our ranked top 10 and gets no score here. If licence paperwork is your first filter, read our EU9 review, the ranked site we list for players who check the paperwork. For the site in first place, see our TAB66 review, and our rating method explains what we look for.
WE88: Frequently Asked Questions
Is WE88 legit?
WE88's footer names MockingBird Technologies Pte. Ltd. and Anjouan licence ALSI-202410012-FI1, and the Anjouan public register lists that licence as valid, with an expiry date of 1 October 2027. That confirms the licence exists, but not the extra Curacao and European licences the site also claims. It also does not settle whether playing from Malaysia is allowed, so read our guide to online gambling law in Malaysia.
Is WE88 the same as W88?
No, according to WE88. Its own FAQ says the two are different brands that operate independently, and WE88's footer names MockingBird Technologies Pte. Ltd. as the company behind it, under an Anjouan licence. The names are easy to mix up, so check the brand name and licence number in the footer before you deposit.
What is the minimum deposit at WE88?
RM30 by online banking or ATM cash deposit, which is also the minimum for the 100% Welcome Bonus. Payment gateway deposits through Truepay or EeziePay start at RM50. The public pages give no minimum withdrawal, so confirm that, and the minimum for QR Pay or USDT, at the cashier.
How much do I have to bet to clear the WE88 welcome bonus?
It depends on the game type you choose: x12 for Slot & Fishing, x10 for Sports & Esports and x25 for Live Casino, counted on deposit plus bonus in WE88's own worked examples. By that method, a RM100 deposit with a RM100 slot bonus means (100 + 100) x 12 = RM2,400 in bets (our sum, not a figure the site prints), and Mega888 play does not count. One line of the terms bases turnover on the maximum bonus instead, so confirm with live chat before you opt in.
How long do WE88 withdrawals take?
WE88 says withdrawal checks take 15 to 30 minutes. Its homepage FAQ adds that QR pay, DuitNow, Touch 'n Go and crypto payouts take from almost instant to a few minutes, and bank transfers about 1 to 3 days. These are its own estimates, and we have not tested them. WE88 may also ask for ID, such as a passport or bank statement, before it pays out.
